Northern Virginia Elevate America For Veterans Initiative

The SkillSource Group, Inc. and the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board, in partnership with Microsoft and with assistance from the U.S. Department of Labor in a liaison role is proud to offer U.S. military veterans and their eligible spouses, vouchers for no-cost IT skills training and certification designed to help you build the technology skills employers are looking for.

More than half of today's jobs, in all industries, require some technology skills, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that will reach 77 percent in the next decade. Whether you are interested in building your Windows and Office skills to further your career in any industry, or growing your IT Professional skills for a technology career, we have resources that can help.

Veterans and their eligible spouses can request a no-cost voucher that will help them build their skills in selected Microsoft technologies, plus an industry recognized certification exam that can be used to demonstrate your skills to employers.

  1. Go to www.microsoftelearning.com.
  2. On the right, click Returning Users and sign in as instructed.
  3. Click My Learning in the upper-left corner to bring you to a personalized space that stores all of the learning content you have saved.
  4. Click on the course you want to start.
